Time for LeBron & Co. to win it all

With the addition of Mo Williams and the continuing dominance of LeBron James, the Cleveland Cavaliers are winners of 20 out of 24 games so far. Rank 2nd at the Eastern Conference and 7 games ahead with their division rival, the Detroit Pistons. But is not only about Mo Williams & LeBron James the reason for the early success of the Cavs.

First,
Z has always been consistent on the perimeter and taking 3-point shots on some blow-out games this season. Imagine a 7'3" center taking shots beyond the arc? Big Ben and Wally are now comfortable with Mike Brown's system and getting acquainted to the offense. Big Ben numbers are constantly dropping compare to his Piston days. But still, he is a force to be reckon with on the defense. A 4-time Defensive Player of the Year, opposing teams just can't take for granted what he can do on the defensive glass.

Wally's role has been diminished. From a Starter to a 2nd unit player and from scorer to stopper. He's been also known from a journey man coming from several teams before traded last February in a 3-team deal. Delonte West was sent back to his primary position as a shooting guard from point guard when he arrived in Cleveland. Now, he can set his own shots and can attack the rim like Mo Williams.

Daniel "Bobbie" Gibson still hitting the lights out beyond the arc. A spark from the bench and if he can continue to maintain his numbers and his playing ways, no wonder he could be nominated as the Sixth Man of the Year and even winning the Award.

The Wild Thing, Anderson Varejao has been also consistent this season as a back-up to Z and Big Ben and did not miss the entire training camp compared to last year because of contract hold outs. He and LeBron had been efficient on playing pick and rolls like the Stockton and Malone. Like the Wild Thing, Sasha had also a contract hold-out issues last season and miss the entire training camp and couple of months during the regular season.

With the lose of Joe Smith, Damon Jones and Devin Brown, the Cavs have filled their roles on their 3 promising rookies and added Lorenzen Wright and Tarence Kinsey to boost the deep at the bench.
Looks like there will be a new World Champion this coming June and still coming from the much highly powered Eastern Conference.
